Jawatha Mosque:

Jawatha Mosque is situated in the historical area of Jawatha in Saudi Arabia. Jawatha was the first and earliest Mosque in Eastern Arabia. The original historic structure of the Mosque fell into ruins but restored by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage in 2007, by using the same design as that of the Masmak Fort in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

That agreement revised under the resign of the Caliph Abu Bakar and Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab. Christians of Najran accused of overcharging from the customers and got order to leave the city. When Umar ibn al-Khattab appointed as the Caliph, they deported the Christians to Mesopotamia.

Jewish Community: Before Islam, Najran also holds a Jewish Community, historically affiliated with the Banu al-Haith, the Yemenite Jews who have conquered the Najran and ruled until the Christian invasion of the Yemen. When Saudi King conquered the Najran, many of the Jews fled. When Saudi King asked for his people, Yemeni refused saying there are his Jews now.

Ismaili Community: Ismailis has a religious and historic root in Najran city. Due to the official discrimination of Ismailis in Saudi Arabia, they lost their identity along with government employments, religious practices and justice system.
